can anyone help me ii downaloded promods and stuck it in my mod folder and it says incompatible did i stick it in the right place or is the version just not working the version is 2.60

Did you already press the 'i' in the mod manager? There the game itself will tell you why it's incompatible.
You probably miss one, or more, of the required DLC.
