On linux all police cars are black, which indicates their textures is not saved in the correct texture format.

Well, that's really not possible now, despite being very pro linux gaming I chose to use the Proton compatibility layer for ETS2 and thus it will use Vulkan shaders.

This is however a known "issue" with OpenGL ( linux cannot use DX ) that unfortunately some modders forget when making textures, they need to be saved as DXT5 and with mip maps, this is the correct way to do it and ensures the game to work properly on all supported platforms.

As I can't submit a game log since the issue is not there in Proton I can tell you that it's easy to reproduce; if you don't have linux just start the game in OpenGL mode and travel to TGS and you will soon see what I mean.

Sorry for not being able to be more helpful and submit a bug report the proper way, anyway I hope you are able to look into it as other OpenGL users will experience the same.
