Comparing the original map0.dds with ProMods, I now understand. SCS uses the hack to make Great Britain appear in the real scale on the map although it's different. ProMods upscaled GB on the map so the distances are consistent, that's why it's appearing so big.

Thank you for your replies. So I do not have any maps sitting on top of PM, that's why I did not see any difference. The thing that made me curious was that DOWL's europe.mdb is 61 bytes, but ProMods' is 69 bytes. So I removed it to have the PM map have the last word :) So the only thing that doesn'...

The author, DOWL, says it is needed for ProMods Map Combos, but does not mention what it does exactly.

Crashes for me too in Poland, always reproducible. Used buffer setting 10, 20 and 30 which make no difference. On the linked screenshot, it's the roundabout that's ahead of me. Drive past it, turn right to the service station and then driving back to the roundabout it always crashes to desktop. http...

Thanks for the heads up, it is working perfectly now. It seems the reason was one of my own mods, still checking that, but everythins fine now!

It is working now - I've removed two localization mods I made, one was for RusMap 2.44 company names. (The cyrillic names were showing up as ? ? in the Job map, so I've transliterated them.) I've successfully used exactly this fix you're suggesting, it worked for RM2.44 but now the navigation issue is back for me. (Load order exactly as proposed on this forum)

Currently I'm playing Southern Region as a standalone on a separate profile due to its map/connection issues with RusMap 2.45. It's such a beautiful route, the forest, the serpentines... awesome. After updating the textures (my hand is still hurting because of 10 thousand times double click - Ctr+S ...
