Game crashes in Elbasan

Hi,

my game freezes and quits to desktop without an error message in Elbasan, at the location in the screenshot below (the "1" icon). According to my gamelog, it seems to be caused by a "parked car". The only AI traffic mod I'm using is Russian traffic pack by Jazzycat, and disabling it does not help. When I drove into Elbasan earlier today it was working fine. There was an update for the game in the meantime, could it be responsible for the crash? Any help?

I'm using v1.38, Promods 2.50 with ME addon, Rusmap 2.2.1, Southern Region 9.0, and Great Steppe 1.38 with the corresponding road connections. The mod filenames in my gamelog look old because I renamed the updated version's mod files in order to just overwrite the older versions of PM, RM and SR instead of disabling and enabling them in the mod manager.

With so many mods it's very difficult to know what causing this but try to remove "ME - Russian police fix".

I tried removing ME russian police fix, police cars kz and "no empty bench and chairs", no help

if not, create a new profile and enable step by step your mods till you find the faulty one.

No help with disabling that. Also tried sleeping and advancing time through the console.

These lines look interesting. I extracted dlc_balkan_e.scs with the SCS Extractor and looked for the file mentioned inside it. The folder "/model2/vehicle/parked_cars_groups" within dlc_balkan_e.scs seems to be empty. That sounds like the game crashed because the file it looks for doesn't exist.

Looks like it's actually not a mod's fault, but the Black Sea DLC, i.e. an asset from it used in that part of Elbasan is missing. Could it be that today's update to v1.38.1.11s changed the files within its .scs archive, as when I drove to Elbasan before the update it worked fine?

I've also searched for that file within a few mods I suspected might contain it, but didn't find it anywhere.

It is not today's update problem because it doesn't crash there for me with only ProMods enabled.

you have to verify the game files on steam then, looks like there was an error during updating

Solved, that was the case @Trucker2223. The Steam file verification found one damaged file and redownloaded it, the size was 338 mb which corresponds with the dlc_balkan_e.scs file. I guess it got corrupted by the update somehow. I remember switching off my VPN while it was downloading to get a higher speed, maybe that caused it.
