Was out for a while, ETS with ProMods just sort of stopped running on my old battered PC, then my keyboard died and I didn't have time nor money to get replacement parts.
Luckily I got a new setup, new GFX card/CPU, new keyboard so it's back to business.
A lot of shots for you today: more old shots of the areas in which my old setup coped (barely) but also some shiney new shots: I hope the difference is clear enough
(it is while playing at least)
MAN E6 with appropriate trailer, driving from San Sebastián to Huesca, with that new mountain pass included.
The mountains look pretty ace.
Permasnow areas...
This road is pretty spectacular, luckily the heavy set up MAN coped perfectly.
Nice road, well done PM devs
You know what, just enjoy the shots of the view.
Arriving in Huesca, a cozy little town which is also detailed well. Nice, but not for my old GFX card
Anyway.
Re-modified my old RJL Scania, got the Skane Edition skin, looks better now!
Got me this nice Schweppes trailer. Makes me thirsty!
The wide "Ruhrgebieter Autobahns".
Der Rhein!
I delivered this trailer somewhere in France, Rennes if I recall correctly.
There's the new shiney version of that same Scania! Ignore the screen ratio btw, I still use a 1920x1080 monitor myself, but the guy I tested my new PC at (where I made this screenshot) uses a wider one.
This also means my PC can finally run the Range T on a bit decent fps, so I remodified that one as well, got me a new trailer and delivered some things from Barcelona to Irun.
That all looks way better, doesn't it?
That same bridge/tunnel (tridge/bunnel?)
My shiney new Scania, I really like this truck for no apparent reason.
Later than I hoped, I discovered this new trailer which is used to deliver Iveco vans. So I had to try that out in the Italy DLC.
Letting Renaults eat our dust
You might be asking yourself why I'm not using an Iveco for this, simply because the time has destroyed the Iveco and they're just not enjoyable to use.
Some nice architecture around Milan.
Wanted to try out the new route from London to Calais, using the new Channel Tunnel. So I got me the old DAF with a nice skin, and I really enjoy driving it.
I actually visited the UK last summer, I rented a cottage near Sevenoaks, which makes this sign very familiar to me
Mighty mighty thing.
The new tunnel is very nice, a bit big in comparision to the rest of the area but I guess when the UK gets a thurrow rebuild it will blend right in.
In Calais, where a 40 km/h Combine created a bit of a weird situation...
Although not really the best way in progress, an interesting challenge
Next: I found myself in Elblag, with the Euro 6 DAF. So I planned a trip to Taranto and it's still in progress but I decided to share some shots already.
Clean design as you might've found out yourself, but it works for me.
Sunset...
Wien, very nice!
More Wien...
The police is always watching you
To be continued!
