That DLC probably won't be for this year anyway, by then Kutchek could potentially have made the Azur part for ProMods. From what I heard he would wait with rebuilding the existing vanilla parts in the light of the upcoming DLC (who has not been confirmed btw, just people found parts called France in some folder).ETS2-User wrote:I can't speak for Kutchek himself but I believe he wants to wait the France DLC to top the dessert off.

Yeah they did, doesn't say anything though. Between going East and Scandinavia was almost 2 years, considering Scandinavia is from what? July August 2015 something?

Always keep in mind that the ProMods team has deeper insight into SCS their plans.

I'm sure Kutchek wouldn't be doing this area, if he or Promos knew SCS would be going over his work.
Southern France DLC has been confirmed by Pavel Sebor himself on Squirrel's stream. You're right, it could not be this year, but i hope SCS has learned a lesson from Scandinavia DLC and ATS with a too long waiting time for players. Btw, everytime SCS announces something, it's never quick enough. Last exemple, the W900, in "few days", and poeple was whining after 2 days.Nectaria Coutayar wrote:That DLC probably won't be for this year anyway, by then Kutchek could potentially have made the Azur part for ProMods. I wonder how this will affect current development:
Emphasis added by me. Original quote from:http://blog.scssoft.com/2016/02/vive-la-france.htmlSCS Blog wrote:Euro Truck Simulator 2 map team is hard at work on a new major DLC expansion for the game. We are expanding the little bit of France we have in the game now to cover the whole country. This also includes a lot of touches to the existing areas (total overhaul of Paris region for example). The changed parts of the world will of course still be accessible in the base game, even if they are upgraded visually...

I hope that i dont need to buy that France DLC when it comes in order to keep using the Promods map.Like i had to do when the Scandinavia DLC did come out for people to buy.Because i do like the Promods good work and it would be crazy if the Promods work in France would be a waste of time, because they would need to do it again. So that it would be combatible with the SCS France DLC,in the same way as they had to do with Scandinavia DLC.
