We're going to see a solar eclipse in Europe on 20th March. Are you going to watch it?
The path of totality goes through Faroe Islands and Svalbard, the eclipse will be "only" partial in the rest of Europe - from 98% in Reykjavík or 92% in Dublin to 62% in Rome or 53% in Bucharest. Are you going to watch it?
You might know this information, but if you don't I just want to notify you if you're interested

I live on the coast of the southern county in North-Norway so it will be very visible here. Gonna watch it. Hope it gets clear sky.

I remember the eclipse from 1999 very well.
I was working at the time so couldn't watch it. But even though it was in a factory, so not much natural light gets in, everyone knew it was happening. It wasn't the lack of sunlight we noticed, it was the temperature drop.

I was born few months after the 1999 eclipse and I couldn't watch the partial one in 2011 because I was at school, so this will be the first solar eclipse I'm going to see. I know it's not really interesting for some people, but I'm interested in astronomy and I'm looking forward to the eclipse for several months
900th post yay!
