Can I just say that I am really grateful for the work the Modders do to produce this FREE mod. I am happy to stay downgraded with the beta release of ETS2 until the update is published whether that be in 2023, 24 or beyond.
For goodness sake it's a game, get a grip!

Hey, Promods overrides the West Balkan DLC, is there any option not to override the DLC? I ask because i cannot do any WOTR misson for the West Balkan Event. Thanks in advance.

No, because we have not integrated this DLC yet. We expect to have the integration ready some time Q1/Q2 in 2024

Dude, as a developer myself, I can say, that rushing things is a certain way to the certain doom. ProMods team is NOT your personal dev team, it's a team of dedicated fans.
So it's rdy, wen rdy. Don't put unnecessary pressure on already pressured team

Also, Q for the dev team, out of curiosity, some Balkan countries are already in mod. So I'm wondering, how you are going to connect them? I was very disappointed ETS team didn't include Bar (and therefor the Bar-Bari-Bar ferry, which name tbh I find hilarious). There is a toll road from Podgorica to Bar with loooong tunnel going thru mountain, with a quite a scenic route to it thru Skadar Lake, so I really was hoping to see them in official DLC, yet here we are

because if something doesn't work there will be complaints again.

i think to start play game without Promod. ETS put upgrade more offen than this side can follow, i know how is that big work but in end work all month to play 10-20 day not give us nothing. My think is wait till ETS come in some longer hold version.

yes, there will be some work with new DLC, for now the most optimistic update is january 2024.

For Promods map users who use the game via Steam, it is easy to continue using this fantastic map.
Select the ETS2 page in your library and then the gear drawing, then select "Properties" in properties go to "BETAS" and next to "Betas Participation" where it says "None" select the penultimate update "temporary_1_48_5 - 1.48. 5.x for incompatible mods" so you reverted your game to version 1.48.5.x where the Promods map was working before the new update. Then you just wait for the team to work on the new game update (1.49.x) and, when they release it, you can revert the game to the last update, following the previous steps but setting it to "None". We have absolutely zero control on when SCS releases updates.
They typically release updates every 3 to 4 months or so and this has been the case for the past 10 years.

Also, before we can start work on the next ProMods version, we need to have the final version of the SCS files.
If we start working with the open beta files then there is a risk that bugs will become part of ProMods that SCS has already resolved.

In the end, the update process is not really a big deal. If you do not want to update to the latest version you simply go into the Steam Properties and roll back to the previous version.
You can do this in less than five minutes.
