damn update to 1.48

I did the roll back to 1.47 (beta, supposedly). And it worked! Happy and back to business.
All that SCS has to do is add a dialog box informing us of an update, and a choice of go or no go! It’s not that hard. I also turned off auto updates on the Steam client!

I didnt want the god damn thing, as i never asked for it. It angers me mightily that this happens. Is there a way i can go back to 1.47. I spend most of my time using Promods maps etc

Yes to doing go to steam and press right button mouse , selection properties two position are updates game and them click to old version game 1.47

The date of release is in my timezone which is New Zealand time and ahead of CET/UTC

mahernehme has posted the solution/workaround. I got caught out by 1.48 last night, and remembered that these temporary version pins existed (probably because SCS are aware that people use a lot of mods). Set it to 1.47 temporary, Steam downloaded about 2Gb worth of stuff, and then my mods were working again.

So no, your game/hobby has not bee destroyed. Can the hyperbole, it would probably have taken you less time to apply the workaround than to post your screed.

Exactly that I did do on my machine, so far the game itself started and I could accept jobs and drive, but unfortunately I cannot fill up my fuel tank. I can stop at a station and switch off the engine, but when pressing the ENTER key, I only can hear the corresponding click-sound, but no drop of fuel fills up my tank.

It reads "-nan(lnd)" next to the Liter fueled display instead of the really gained fuel.

Any idea how to solve that issue?
