[REL] ETS2 Winter Timezones

This is a mod that changes the time zones of all the countries that follow Daylight Saving Time back to their original time zone. It also sets the default day of the year to midwinter.

Supported mods:
-Base game with all DLCs including Iberia
-Promods
-Promods Middle-east
-Jan Mayen

For other mods, please provide me with the download link. Encrypted maps will not be supported unless I can get access to the unencrypted \def\country files.

Only the timezones were changed. Fuel prices and other data was left to the original mods.
This mod is not and can never be compatible with mods that update the fuel prices to real word value.

Recommended to use with FULL timezones enabled in-game, and with my Actual Day-/Night times mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1400412725
Place Actual Day-/Night times ABOVE this mod in the load order.
Place ETS2 Winter Timezones above any map, weather, or graphics mods.

Recommended additional mods: the season mods by Grimes ( https://grimesmods.wordpress.com/ ). Place these BELOW Winter Timezones and Actual Day/Night times.

Thanks for the update! Could you add Road to Asia support? Iran is the only country it adds that changes time in Winter.

Iran no longer uses DST since this year and will stay on year-round standard time: https://livingintehran.com/2022/09/21/d ... s-in-iran/

So it's up to the map makers to fix the timezone.

Russia does not have daylight saving time.

FYI both this and the ATS version needs to update all of the "country.sii" files as SCS has added a new ISO parameter in 1.48 that associates a flag with a country to be shown in the Map Exploration window. With your mods all of the countries/states loose that flag.

I see, everything seems to be working nice. On another hand I've just noticed that you released "Country Name Corrections" in workshop and I wanted to suggest if you could support mods like MaghrebMap, Road to Africa and Road to Asia. Those mods contain many countries (Morocco, Sudan, Kuwait...) that would really benefit from official alternate names. Commenting this here because comments are disabled on "Country Name Corrections" workshop page btw. Another suggestion I have is shortening West Bank unlocalized name, it is too long and takes to much space in the screen.

Yeah I disabled comments there because I really don't want the political nonsense that comes up when certain areas are discussed.

Sadly I don't think I can do a line break in name fields (the characters for it are ignored, or cause the mod not to validate) so I will just remove the Hebrew name for the west bank.
Maghreb and Road to Africa were added where applicable.

I'll look into Road to Asia if it's updated.
