Not enough room for A0, also building a second ring road would pretty much cancel the idea behind the Bucharest expansion - routing people through the city..

That is fair, most cities require that Ring Road, but Bucharest is pretty unique - with its Eastern infrastructure and Romania, a country in which the motorway density is much smaller.
I loved for example getting on and off the A1 near Szeged / Hunedoara - gave a feeling that the country is always in development.

What you could do instead is demolish the old Bucarest Ring Road (DNCB) and build the A0, since Trucks won't be using the DNCB anymore, once the A0 is finished.

I don't think I'll do that any time soon. I will remake some signage on the ring road (coming in the next timelapse video) but other than that I do not really want to touch the area outside the city limits.

The complete A0 around Bucharest is still very FAR from completion in RL, some sections will be opened soon but thats it. Although once it'll be fully opened, I do think it would be a mistake not to recreate it ingame, but judging by how slow these motorway projects progress in this country that's still years ahead, so no rush..
