Tweaks police fines and probability
Most fine chances for when there is no cop around removed or lowered. No more double fines if a cop spots you.

With no cop around, there is no chance of a fine for:
-Driving without lights
-Passing a red light
-Speeding (without a speed camera)

And lowered chances for:
-Driving the wrong way (30% down from 60% - if no cop is around, someone may still call emergency)
-Speeding past a speed camera (90% instead of 100%)

In addition to this the time before the first speeding fine is increased, giving you a chance to slow down, and the time between sleep avoiding fines is increased.

The fine for car crashes is set to the lowest possible amount, 1, as most crashes are caused by the AI. You still get the message but no longer have to pay the full fine as well as deal with any damage to your truck.

This is a mod I've been tweaking for a while but since earlier this month I am very happy with it and consider it complete. I don't want to disable all fines in game, but the way they work by default -- especially the red light checks and the fact the AI causes almost all my traffic incidents -- means I needed to tweak it.

Hi,

it is a mod from steam workshop - you have to subscribe to it on the provided link and then it will be downloaded (and updated) automatically
you only have to activate it then in the mod manager.

If you do not find it, go back to the workshop page and unsubscribe, then subscribe again. Sometimes, Steam will not download a mod the first time.

Tweaks police fines and probability

Did you understand those formulas? I can't understand their structure. Where does the value come from. Level value, overspeed in the second formula and why the limit is placed in the formula after the mafaka comma?

I assume you mean the level based fine formulas and speeding formula? I haven't touched those.

I understand what they do, increase your fine the higher your level is / the more you speed above the limit - but finetuning them requires more effort than I'm willing to spend.
