not showing up
That is not the correct location of your mod folder. On Macintosh it is usually located in: "YOUR USERNAME"/Library/Application Support /American Truck Simulator/modsmackem wrote: ↑29 Jul 2021 09:35Mod Folder on my Mac...

OK. Understood. I moved my Steam games to an external drive. I'll move ATS and ETS back to the Library folder. Hope that fixes the problem.
Thanks for the tip.

Nope... still not showing up even after moving ATS back to the original Library folder. Tried reinstalling too. Doesn't work.
I have a 2015 iMac 21" running Catalina
Any other ideas?

The "homedir" (the place where your settings, savegames, and mods are stored) is always different than your installation directory, they are not related. It does not matter where your game is installed, the "homedir"/mod folder is always in the same place: "YOUR USERNAME"/Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator/mod
My bad... thought it was supposed go in ATS in the Steam folder. Tough to follow the Windows tutorial.
It works now. Thank you for the help!
Promods: FYI, when you publish the Mac version of the install tutorial, perhaps it would be wise to clarify the folder location.

- Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator/mod <-- CORRECT

There is a Macintosh tutorial for ETS2 which is essentially the same except:
- You choose ProMods Canada instead of ProMods Europe on the homepage
- Your mod folder will be in "American Truck Simulator" instead of "Euro Truck Simulator 2"
3) When it is done you will see a folder called "promods-v200.7z" Even though it says .7z at the end, it is just a folder. Open it, and inside will be all the Promods .scs files. Move these and the Promods def file (which also ends in .scs) to your mod folder. (Usually in "YOUR USERNAME"/Library/Application Support /Euro Truck Simulator 2/)
