ETS2 - Promods. Worth it?

I was looking at installing Promods, however it will mean purchasing the Italia expansion (I already own the map DLCs released before that one).

Given the additional outlay I'll need to make, is Promods worth it in the opinion of those who have it installed?

I'd say the DLCs alone are worth the price. With Promods is a bargain. I'd wait for a sale to get them up to 50%, and use the map booster bundle for even more money off. That way you should be able to pick up any map DLCs you don't have for less than $30/40.

Just to be clear if you own every map DLC up to Italy, then "Italy" is not enough, you also need to buy "beyond the baltic sea" and " road to the black sea" ie all map dlc, the last one mentioned is not featured on the map booster

(Or run older version of promods and lower version of ets2 which means forego of some new trucks, fmod and optimizations)

In my view all of the mentioned dlc s are more than worth the price, very high quality, and promos improve for me mostly the old scs areas , with some nice expansions

It’s a no brainer for me. Without Promods the game is barely playable. Just my opinion!
