Noob question about AI cars

Hi, so I'm kinda new to the game and definitely new to the mods. I'm wondering if there is a way to actually drive some of the AI cars.
More specifically, I'd love to drive the Hymer B 678 (that RV/motorhome /camper you can see from time to time roaming on the streets). I found a mod that lets you drive the caravan (which you can also see around) so I'm thinking it is possible to drive the RV as well?

It's not possible to drive ai cars. In order to drive it, someone needs to create a mod that will make this Hymer drivable which is something very difficult and unlikely to happen.

Awww it's a shame, it would be cool to drive around Europe as if you were having a leisure trip from time to time, instead of only working with trucks and trailers.

I know it is, that is why I said "from time to time". With such a cool map, it would be a nice mod, that's all. And since someone already made a car+caravan mod, apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so

The main issue with the AI vehicle models is that they're too low poly to be used as a player vehicle and have no interior, so for a modder to add them in as a drivable vehicle they would have to start pretty much from scratch. Most vehicle modders make trucks/trailers as that is what people seem to like the most.

Actually, you can drive AI vehicles.
Not sure why others here said, you can't ...

Basic model is the Skoda Suberb from TruckersMP.
Check out some mod-sites like these below, they all have a seperate section for cars and busses you can drive.
Some nice cars there, tried some, and they work really fine.
You can even drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini if you'd like to ... but be careful, steering and handling at high speed (cars go up to about 300 kp/h) is a bit tricky

Now, you could also try this SteamWorkshop Mod, called Driveable AI Cars.
Works pretty good, got something like 100 different vehicles, including police/firebrigade/ambulance, deliveryvans, busses, and yes, there's a Hymer in that Mod as well.
So yeah, there you go!

there's also a Mod-addon for this , to drive Jazzycat's AI trafficpack cars
Should be a Mod for a large RV (the Winnebago) as well somewhere
