[REL] Road to the Balears map

Hi guys!


I've recently started to work on my first map - Road to the Balears! The final release will include Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza with their main cities and towns. However, it is still possible that your work will be overwritten by SCS, if they will include Mallorca in their upcoming Iberia DLC.

I don't think so, as Mallorca is not Iberia. Iberia is a peninsula, which includes Spain and Portugal, but not their islands.

I don't think the Baleares will be in the DLC. But Of course I'm not sure about it. If not I'm very happy someone is mapping there

Let him map what he wants! If the DLC includes Mallorca then he can decide about a merge, a discard or a replacement. But let the guy work where he wants! Go on with the good work!

Thanks dude! If SCS makes that area, everything my map will do is overwrite those sectors... So seems to be no problem for me. You can already see Palma and the port on the minimap (see image), but nothing was defined yet

Sardinia IS Italy, Corsica IS France, Mallorca IS Spain. But Mallorca IS NOT Iberia... Iberia doesn't equal Spain. It's a peninsula with Spain and Portugal. So Iberia doesn't include islands.

Your roads need to be improved. You should add high poly road and shoulders on the first pic + shoulders on the 2nd pic.
