Cities disappearing when ProMods 2.42 is enabled

Yesterday, I downloaded ProMods 2.42 for ETS 1.35. After making a new profile and loading only ProMods, I realized that every city disappeared in the global map. I can't take a screenshot because Windows 10 simply won't let me, but every single city in the map disappeared. All the highways are there, but the cities aren't. I decided to disable ProMods so that I could do at least one delivery, and the cities were back as soon as I disabled ProMods.

What is going on? How can I fix this? Do I download an earlier version?
