When I select my profile with only promods enabled and press continue there is a black screen for about 4 seconds then it crashes to desktop.

@jahasir, I suspect one (or more) of your ProMods files may be corrupted or truncated, specifically "promods-assets-v242.scs". Please compare the sizes of the files in your mod folder with the sizes in this image:
If any of the file sizes don't match you should re-extract the file(s) from the 7zip archive you downloaded. If that doesn't help, or you no longer have the 7zip archive, then you will need to redownload.
