We continue eastwards to the Swedish capital, picking up our load from an Ikea on the outskirts of Örebro.
On the motorway out of Karlstad.

You can't drive a Scania past Södertälje without doing a few laps of the test track!

300km towards the south of Sweden. Earning €17,000.

330km of island hoping across Denmark - earning €14,000.

Over the Nye Lillebæltsbro (New Little Belt Bridge) from Funen to Jutland.
Stopped to ask for directions from a police officer as the E45 link is closed due to an accident.
A short diversion towards Kolding later and we're back on the road to Aarhus.
The turn for Aarhus as it starts to drizzle in the evening.

Onto the motorway northwards.
Through wind farms and fields.
Heavier rain as we go round Aalborg.
Turning onto the E39 for Hirtshals.
At the port of Hirtshals.
We disembark the ferry and drive through Tórshavn.
Up into the hills of Føroyar.

Onto the motorway northwards.

Having arrived in the Faroes, out next ferry out would be bound for Seyðisfjörður. But first we had a few days rest while our Scania is prepared for the snow and ice.

Part 61: Rice from Tórshavn (FO) to Vestmannaeyjar (IS) & on to Reykjavík (IS)
750km across the picturesque south of Iceland earning €22,000.
Arriving in Seyðisfjörður - the north and east of Iceland have had a lot of snow.
Taking care on the icy road.

Leaving the snow behind us as we head around the island.
The Atlantic looking fairly calm. Snow-meltingly warm temperatures of 12°C in Hvalnes.
The road follows an inlet quite a way inland making our journey much longer than it would be as the crow flies.
This section of road remains unpaved.

With nowhere to sleep it's going to be a long night...

After eventually making it to the hotel in Vík, we continue westwards.
