Hello, I have been thinking a little bit about creating a map background for this map. Since I'm a geography geek, I couldn't stand anymore playing this map and not having a background on it. I feel everytime kind of lost and I cannot locate the cities in the real brazilian states they are located in.

I would like to ask, it is such hard to create a map background for someone who doesnt have any kind of experience? (first, generally speaking in modding stuff, and second and most important in map buidling). I have seen a few videos/tutorials but I feel kind of overwhelmed and I don't know where to start. If someone knows a good guide (step by step, easy) could he/she share it?
