I have seen roundabouts on Interstate interchanges.
1 example of a drop formed roundabout.
But I've never said that is impossible to see a roundabout in the USA. I meant that it was a miracle (not very usual as in Europe).

Roudabouts are slowly being integrated into more American cities and towns, even my own city has begun to rebuild various intersections as traffic circles. It really only makes too much sense for them to be present especially when traffic accidents are very common due to the standard four-way intersection.

Roundabouts have a long history in USA, just check the wikipedia page.

Here's a google map view of an old California roundabout.

Columbus Circle in New York's Manhattan.

Thomas Circle needs a mention too!

Actually in Santa Fe, NM if you google map the exit of 599 to Frontage Road and Meadows Road you will see two big roundabouts, which i drive everyday. There's a few more inside the city, in Alameda, Zafarano and a few other streets. I haven't noticed if SCS included this roundabouts in the New Mexico DLC, but i doubt it.

road_warrior, those are nice looking roundabouts.
That interchange is not included at all in the ATS map.

EXIT 111 off I-5, one of the ramps go into a roundabout in Hawks Prairie (Lacey) to WA-510 East.

I found roundabouts that could/should have been in the New Mexico DLC.
Exit 102 of I-40 at Sky City.
I think they could have fit.
