Hi, i wanted to pay for the fast download for the one and only reason..... support the devs and the site, but i do not use Paypal under any circumstances.
So O.K. i will instead make a donation....... can't...... Paypal again.......

I refuse to use or go through paypal to make any purchases or donations, i boycott Paypal period.

I have paid for the 2.20 download and I haven't received a download linkl. When I downloadload 2.18 after paying the file came straight through. This time i got a message telling me the link was being sent straight to my paypal email address. I have no way of accessing this address as its a yahoo address and was closed down last year when the password scandal broke.
how do I access the file I have paid for?
If i had been told prior to payment that the system has changed and I would need to use my paypal address then I would not have paid.

Could I ask why you are boycotting Paypal. I am asking because I use them all the time and am wondering if they have done something wrong to warrant me boycotting them also.

Do you have tried to set it to 64-bit mode and checked the load order is correct?
Do you have two def file for trailers activated? If not, you have choose one of them.
(Standalone is just adding to existing SCS trailers and replacement just replaces existing SCS trailers)
Do you have other mods than Promods 2.20 and Trailers and Companies Pack 1.14?

4 of the 7 'free' links provide unwanted and potentially dmaging injections. ALL of the links not only open another tab with adverts but also another window with adverts.

Given this state of annoyance/potential damage to local computer WHY would I trust anything that has 'paypal' linked to it?

I would offer the suggetsion that there are enough people who want to use the promods data that would be content to pay 5-10Euro for the content. If the official DLC content costs 15Euro then this should be worth more than 1Euro. The distributor can then NOT attempt to infect the users with whatever crap their advert-providing sites attempt to push onto us. If you are trying to run a business model then be more considerate about it: enforced, damage-laden advertising is not going to win you loyal users.

I use free links for 3.5 years and nothing bad happened. And you can guess I'm not the only one. Don't click weird links and you're safe.
If you don't feel safe in the web, you can pay 1$ for a download service without any ads.

i prefer to pay that 1 euro for mod/fast download/one piece rather than painfull/slow free downloading

I use the paypal option and never had any issues with scamming websites blablabla
before I used the paypal option I used the free option and never had issues with scams / ads from websites that hurt my pc and blablabla

The link is never send to my email to be honest always after payment it directs me and there I can find the link and click and and guess what : no problems and no ESET or whatever program I use at such times that screams : careful do not trust it.

Then again not everyone has great internet and protection or brainusage to think and look what they do and click.
