So i've tried following the easy steps of your install of the promods.
I payed for it, got the folder, extracted it to the desktop, and copyed all 6 files, inculding the def file (7 total) files into my ETS2 folder, but i have no "mod" folder, so i just put it in the first folder (along with other mod files)

But it dosent work. I have both scandinavian, france and going east dlc.

So what am i doing wrong? Please help

Can we please see your game.log? Maybe we can see the reason why you don't have a mod folder. And if you need to create one or not.

Steam workshop mods are in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\227300
227300 is steam game id for ETS2

Edit: doesn't matter where you bought game, you can use reqular mods too and mods that you download yourself need to be in your dockuments\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod folder
