Really gewd! Als where did yo get the ADAC MAN trailer?
Haha, well it was stationary Don't underestimate it though, it has more power than (at least I) expected...CrazyTrucker wrote:Nice pics sir. in the last one looks like the MAN is struggling so hard to start moving ahah
Thanks!
Thanks again Michael! It's included in the Jazzycat trailer pack.Michael Rosen wrote:Really gewd! Als where did yo get the ADAC MAN trailer?
Welcome back to Reykjavík, where we have another bunch of Icelandic adventures.
First off, we're taking... something to Borgarnes. I've downloaded a Lamberet Trailer Pack, but it's not giving me load names. So, we're transporting cn_frozen. Yep.
Iceland has about 50 km of highways I think. We've all of 50 of them today
Another profit for the MAN: it was delivered with an autopass. Which is very useful if you come through the only place in Iceland where you have to pay for toll. The tunnel.
More tunnels and rocky terrains as we approach the half way marker.
Back in the snow!
And that is job done.
We found another job, this one goes to Akureyri. We're transporting peas.
Some miles to go in the "Desert of Ice".
All these small villages, I love it!
I have had a pleasant and problemless journey so far. Not to be said of everyone...
And we're in the small village of Blonduós. Which is really small.
Still I've decided to repair my truck there. Truck damage? Say that to an Audi driver in Reykjavík.
Just as I drove through Blonduós it started to jam up. Nice!
Blonduós might be half-way, but the rough part is yet to come.
Another small village.
With a bridge!
And a fuel station! So I decided to juice up the truck. It's not very economical, I can tell you that.
Done refueling, let's get underway again.
Which was easier said than done... :/
Nice little lake.
I've only been as far as Blonduós before and Akureyri only from the north side. This was new territory. How could I miss it?
Decided to enjoy the scenery in the rough and hairpin-y part, about 20 km before Akureyri. That, by the way, is the most terrible color for a Scania, like ever.
Arrived in Akureyri! It wasn't on the route but I had to check out the "Corkscrew of Akureyri". That is one difficult corner.
And we're there!

Special mention I forgot:
That is my "EnduLab" Mercedes MP4, which, at a mileage of 106,309 km has left the EnduLab.
This doesn't mean I'm selling it, it will mean that it has passed the tests, and will now become a driver's truck.
Soon a new truck will enter.
