SCS truck physics became fantastic

You can talk about anything here (but respect the rules)

Share please what you experience. It really bothers me, that i can't brake while turning. If i brake while cornering, the truck becomes very unstable

Adjust settings, as much as possible.
Even before the more realistic physics, I used to brake before the turns.

I also tend to slow down before corners, but I show corners where you have to brake even while turning.

Unfortunately, the wheels squeal even at slow speeds, when decelerating from 50 to 30 km/h. This is quite normal with a Soviet-made IFA, but not very realistic with a Scanina.
The anti-lock braking system is not working properly because the wheels are locking up more than ever before
Despite the ABS option, the truck slides more. I don't even dare to try it without ABS :D
The new physics has become so weak that when braking the truck slides more than it slows down. Because of this, you can turn very squarely, ducking while braking. Strangely, now easier to drive on wet roads.
I am lucky, because i drive with steeringwheel, I rarely press the brakes 100 percent. I can't magine how terrible to drive with keyboard, but it can be a real pain when braking
If you can recommend a setting what can greatly reduce wheel screeching braking, I would appreciate it

"This is the police, where is your drivers license"

Question, is that an unmodded Scania you are driving?
+ you are overspeeding, vs road conditions.

I'm too lazy to get my driving set, so I drive with my keyboard. It works ok.

Don't worry, I've got my seat belt on :D The simulator allows me to drive more bravely without risk, as I would not in real life.

Only the engine and transmission modded. The cornering and braking properties are the same as originally. Now there's a lot more countersteer, but the good news is that I can slide into corners and drift around roundabouts. Like a rally truck :D

But the eternal screeching of wheels and sliding across is quite libido destroyer. I hope that the developers are not developing the game based on a wrecked KAMAZ

ScuL, speed testing for invisible roadblocks?
Yep that is my usual take, make sure it is playable
What's your impression?

Finally, I feel like driving a Scania again. The truck physics have been greatly improved compared to version 1.48. The wheels squeal when you brake hard, but they don't slide unnecessarily, the truck slows down properly when you braking. Now you can brake softly while cornering, the Michelins grip well even on wet roads. The trucks have much better turning ability. Of course, it's still a truck simulator, but now it's fun and safe to drive with a steering wheel or joypad. That's why I love Euro Truck Simulator, the developers did a really great job

Thanks 8-)
