[DIS] Southern Region - Ferry Fix

I's possible the game decides it's a better route -- it will prioritize roads over ferries as much as possible. Since there is no road across the Ukraine though this is a pretty large diversion, so jobs from south Russia to southern Europe should now prioritize the ferry.

What map mods are you using? I didn't test with maps other than Promods, Rusmap, and Southern Region. For me, with this ferry, most jobs would logically cross the Black Sea now use the ferry.

i have recently installed ROEXtended, turkish map, volga project and caucasus project but this problem was showing just with only southern region, great steppe and rusmap (and promods of course)
but as i said it's like even limit the route blocking point in gps and "forcing" the gps to use the ferry it doesn't show
same thing happened without this mod and with only the old novorossysk-varna, while the non real messina-southern region was used

I can't reproduce with just the maps I mentioned. Probably something in your map mod combo messes things up.

I have the same problem, no matter where I put the ferry connection file in the mod manager. The Stavropol Tekirdag route was marked out by the game through Moscow, Belarus, Poland and the Balkans. The ferry works but the game does not take it into account and there are no short routes, for example Sofia - Krasnodar with crossing the Black Sea.

I did some further searching to update the length and price and found that this line no longer exists. There is no more ferry from Novorossiysk to Varna. One to Burgas may exist but I can't find valid info on it.
So this is discontinued.

The ferry in real life actually goes to Kavkaz rather than Novorossiysk, But Kavkaz is not in SR map.

I should still be working (ferries are really simple), but the ferry doesn't actually exist IRL. I no longer use SR myself so I stopped maintaining this.
