AfroMap is not updated for 1.45, so by using an illegal update for it you are not precisely respecting AfroMap's author work. On the other hand he gave permission to MaMap team to update and integrate his work into MaMap.

By legit, I mean that this version wasn't made with the authorization of the originale author. Don't mean that this one precisely don't work on 1.45. What I can do about this prob is to create a proper version of AfroMap compatible with MaMap, since I have the authorization, which will just delete Medenine and Houmt Souk from AfroMap, and keep all the rest. It won't be that hard to made, but I cannot immediately as I'm on vacation.

As I said - really nice idea.

To exchange experiences so the game provides more for all of us (players).
My experience is that the two maps can work together. (of course needs editing)
You have the ability to legally share that experience (or reality as someone said earlier) so that was my suggestion.

One thing that caught my eyes immediately was Algeria and Libya country defs have the same coordinates pos:(-55000, 0, 84000), thus the name appears on the same map spot. What would be coordinates for Algeria? (Have not found any useful information on the coordinate system yet)

Personally, I decided to delete this map expansion (I use the 1.45 version) : the FPS was too low so the game freezed very frequently.
Besides, when boarding on the ferry to go back to Europe, the game crashes...

No crashes normally occur when taking one of our ferries to Europe. Can you send your game.log after this crash happen ?
