(REL)-(WIP) Itarevamp Version 0.9 by lelux

I've installed Itarevamp together with promods 2.61 and noticed that cities in UK, Ireland and Iceland are out of position. They are closer to France, Nederland... Then I disabled Itarevamp and everything went back to normal.

If you use these map mods, you do not need to change in any connection of Road Connection

1. Fullscreen World Map (Available on Steam)
2. Crash fix for huge combo maps
3. Worlds Combined Background Map
4. Scale Hack Disable

Hey Lelux, your work looks nice, next time I will do a delivery to Italy to see the work.
I know you don't revamp the north of Italy, but I think it will take long time until SCS Actually rework Italy. I think Switzerland, Benelux would be first then UK etc.
The Autostrada Como- Trieste is the only part, who I know from real life. For example in the game there is still the ALT Stazione near Venezia, and there is longtime ago, when it was removed. Perhaps you can think about revamp also the north. One day SCS will anyway rework whole Italy

As i said before, north Italy is too complex for me to do. It's all old stuff from 2012 except for Milan and it will be totally erased and rebuilt from scratch, like Austria. Pointless for me wasting time there cause i will never obtain a decent result. Coming back to my mod, today i'm showing you some of the modifications for version 0.5. I'm concentrating on the beautiful mountains of center-south Italy...

To end a little curiosity. This is the highest power pylon in Italy, called "Pilone dello stretto". From 1955 to 1985, two of them transferred electricity from Calabria to Sicilia. They raise about 235 meters from the ground!

What about adding some more signs. Local signs and distance signs. Scs have not put many signs up in italy.

It looks very nice. It need indead also more realistic signs and I really hope you will make sure those mountains will not pop in. I believe that is done with visibility area’s. Good luck with your project.

About signs, i started adding some direction signs next to extra-urban crossings; about mountains, i set the maximum visibility range for all and the "Ignore cut plane" option, so they will not pop up when you're 100 meters far from them
