Safest would be to transfer your drivers, trucks etc, to a garage that is somewhere else, if a garage you own, wont be in the DLC.
But there is still almost? a year until release of WB DLC.

There's an error with durres I can't travel there by ferry. It always crashes

Yes, exactly.
Our time and team came to a point where we are just not strong enough to keep going. The map will be compatible until the DLC release. Some minor improvements might happen on different parts of the map. After that it will be a "time to say goodbye".
It was a pleasure being top balkans map mod for several years !

Hello, a new version of Project Balkans 5.3 is out! It includes compatibility for ETS 2 version 1.44 and Promods version 2.61. It also adds new Bosnian M18 regional road Tuzla - Sarajevo. Enjoy!

I've found many broken roads which will cause crashes. Is it due to my map combo or is it a compatibility issue with promods?

Yes, the roads are broken and very much!

Roads work fine with Promods, tested many times and km's driven on them (specialy on this new update). You should check your map combo

It seems that N-Macedonia Rework and Project Balkans don't work well together. Using either works fine with PM, but when you put all three together in a combo there's broken roads. I reported this earlier via the SCS forum at https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php ... 2#p1708052

Earlier versions did all work together. Hard to say if this breakage is due to PM changes, NM changes, or PB changes.

I've tried removing the Kosovo and N.Macedonia mods and the roads were still broken. I've found broken roads in Poland and Germany too but those might be ProMods fault
