I think the problem is more the map you are using.

Indeed you were right, it does exist, but we would say that they are metropolises attached to Vancouver itself .

That is correct. At first we named the whole are Vancouver, but it resulted in having so many companies in Vancouver that it started to feel weird (it would result in 30-40% of all cargo's in our mod to go to Vancouver). Hence why we decided to split it up, to add some more immersion.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your development and especially to see you move up to Yukon, so that we can connect Alaska Addons to your map.

But I know that it won't be for a while, it will probably take a few years before we get to Yukon.

Coquitlam, Surrey, and any other city or district municipality in the metro Vancouver area are all independent municipalities with their own governments and they are all real. Technically North Vancouver should also be marked on the map as separate, but that really would be a waste of time. Vancouver is a city of 600000, but metro Vancouver is over 2.5 million.
