ProMods High Quality Background Maps

I know about this issue. Mine And Bengans BGs are matched closely outside of the game, but the game does some weird distortion in the far east to Bengans. RTA currently uses Bengans including this compression. Mine currently sticks to the LCC projection that SCS is supposed to use. When I get time I will make some measurements to see which is more accurate, then update as required.

A recommendation for the High Quality Extended Map, the only map which gets EAA (South America) and Java (Indonesia) both working.

Yes, I don't have time to update multiple identical mods that differ only by colour. You can however edit the texture yourself to any colour you want using GIMP or Photoshop.

Does the high quality background map work without ProMods (just the standard SCS vanilla map)?

It will 'work' technically but the UK will be too large on the background map, since it is not designed to be used with SCS's scale hack that makes the UK appear the correct size. In ProMods this hack is disabled to avoid messing up Ireland/Iceland's scaling, and hence the UK appears bigger on the ProMods map than it should be.

Are there any updates for 1.48? I have just updated ETS2 to 1.48 and mods. I have:
ProMods 2.66, ProMods Middle East, RusMap 2.45 & Southern Region 12.2 and the map crashes when zooming in Messina, Italy. Not sure where else it is crashing, but seemed fine in the Sourthern Region area.

EDIT: I found out I needed the Promods Zoom Crash Fix and that worked.
