Time for some news. Now that 1.40 is released, we are working to finish 2.52. It will come ... soon (it'll be ready when it's ready )
Same of course for the Middle-East add-on ...

As already said, new roads will come, like Al-Qa'im in Iraq or the Jordan desert highway 15, from Amman to Aqaba that was missing for a long time.
Sadly, I had not enough time to complete the road between Iskenderun and Mersin (far more complicated than the desert road above)
However, Mersin will come in 2.52 because it's ready for a while. It'll be linked by ferry to Tripoli (LB) and temporary to Iskenderun.
Adana will be added as soon as possible.

Also, to avoid to return every time to Thessaloniki and take the ferry to Cyprus, then Syria and re-enter Turkey by the south, I added this :

Opened the road already started by SCS. You can now go straight to Ambarli Harbour

This port is quite temporary and it should evolve in the future ...

You have two possible destinations there. Mersin, of course but also Beirut. So Lebanon has now a direct access to main map.

I have no idea until when it'll be used. The Turkish connection between Istanbul and Mersin by road is a huge work ...
About other add-ons, it could work quite easily if they have a port named 'Ambarli' and are placed above ME in priorities.

Good question. As I have myself actually no plan to develop new projects in Istanbul, I'll try to keep this compatible like this :

- Promods only : SCS Istanbul + the small addition I made with Ambarli harbour
- With TR Extended : This add-on will overwrite my harbour and will just add some destinations (Mersin, Beirut) to their ferry ...

Anyway, as I never tried it before, I have to investigate

As far as I know they intend to make the mod compatible with ProMods so maybe they merge with your port

Great stuff as always, glad I won't have to go through Thessaloniki every time now. Would it be possible to add a ferry route from the new harbour in İstanbul to Poti in Georgia?

Just did some additional changes ... Mersin and Beirut harbours will have big ferries for links to Istanbul (Ambarli) in the future
However, I still have some technical problems and can't be included in next version ...

SceneryTR should however be totally compatible and must be placed above PM Middle-East in the load order.
If present, it replaces the default Ambarli harbour I created for Istanbul.

I am 38 years old and have been living in Mersin since I was born.
Turkey's largest, is Europe's second largest port of Mersin Port.
The Promods team has made a huge mistake by including Mersin in this extension with the Middle-East extension.
It is equated with Middle Eastern cities and Mersin is a very big city, no matter how difficult it is.
I don't know how much you care about this, but the developer named Platypus has modeled it by itself.
This never suits Promods quality.
The mountains are visible across the harbor, but such a mountain range is far and invisible from the port.
Second, it is a very large park right next to the harbor, but there is not even the slightest impression.
Platypus definitely damages the Promods image.
