OK, update time! :D

The Shetland Isles may be built some time in the future, I've recently built Uig on the Isle of Skye, with the plan to extend to the Outer Hebrides (Lewis & Harris).
Meanwhile, in England, I've almost completed the rebuild of Chelmsford, so already plenty to look forward to ;)
Cashtime's back!! :) :)

Really good to hear that the Shetlands are more likely to be coming now, and an expansion to the western isles has long been due!

Thank you for your hard work 8-)

Now that they have increased the FPS driving through London is a marvel. :D :D

The new London is awesome ! I'm very impressed with the amount of detail the team has managed to cram into such a small spot...

I hope this quality can be applied to cities in the Midlands, Northwest, SE Wales and Scottish Lowlands in the future !

It took between 18 and 24 months to build it so that shows ;) It will take a while before the rest of the UK receives the same level of detail.

Take all the time you need. Patience will pay off with nice areas like the new London ;)

Is Birmingham and connecting motorways to London (M1, A1(M), M6) to receive the amount of detail as London and (some) surrounding motorways or are there other plans?

Maybe not as much as London but there are definitely plans to improve those areas too

The Northwest has a lot of motorways (M56-M53, M62, M58 along with the proposed extension, M57, M60, M61, M66, M65 with TfN plans to extend it to Bradford, M67 with TfN plans to dual the A628), same with Yorkshire (M18, M180, M62, A1(M)), guess it'll be very interesting to see what the team can come up with for those other large conurbations.

Birmingham itself is a little bit simpler (M42-M6 Toll making the (partial) ring roads, M6 and M5 making the radial routes plus M54, M40 and the northern part of M42). M69 only works if we have both Coventry and Leicester. There are of course a few oddities (like you can't use the M6 to go between M54 and M6 Toll).

any chance of the ferries from Ireland to Roscoff/Cherbourg being added (even if just Rosslare-Roscoff to save having to drive through the UK)

There is a ferry connection between Rosslare and Roscoff or Cherbourg, but I don't know if it works for version 1.32.x.

You can find it here.
