ATS Delivery Mechanic Coming to ETS 2

In a Czech-language interview, SCS developers confirmed the ATS delivery mechanic will be integrated into ETS 2. The official SCS blog addressed this in October 2015. For folks who are unfamiliar with ATS, upon arrival at the destination, instead of parking at a single spot, the player is presented with three parking location options: Hard, Easy, Auto-Park.

That is quite easy.
if that changes comes sometime in the future, the standard prefabs may have to be changed (like it was the case with the truck dealers when they got changed).
The own prefabs which they added in the map probably will not cause any problems and keep the one delivery spot which they have, as those will most likely not affected by such a change.

We don't know how this system works, so the first step would be research. My gut feeling says that we just have to add some extra nodes in the PPD data of the prefabs.

In ATS there also exist companies with only one delivery point so I guess this shouldn't be an issue.

Yep, if there is only the one delivery point, you don't get the prompt to select where you are putting the trailer. You'll just see the marked parking space on arrival.
