I don't have any problems with it either. I don't really get why everybody makes such a fuzz about it....
I would keep it as is. I like the evening light during summer and the early(er) sun during winter.

Daylight saving time is unnecessary and should be abolished.

Let's stick with Normal Time? Before they started with summertime?
Then maybe some ppl would go sleep when needed and not party round the clock?

Hi,
I have also no problem with changeing the clocks two times a year.
If the change would be abolished, I would prefer the standard time.
Best regards,
bmwGTR

Personally, I think having the change every year is okay and this is also how I voted in European Commison’s poll. But if it's to be abolished, I really hope they'll keep summer time all the year (at least for Central Europe).
I did indeed enjoy the extra hour yesterday, however, I don't like early sunset at all. It'd be even worse in summer with sunrise before 4:00 but sunset already at 20:00 (I live near 15° E meridian in Eastern Germany). I know the arguments with "normal" time but it doesn't convince me. Unfortunately, clocks play a pretty big role in most of our daily routines so it's not just "then get up an hour earlier if you want to".

That's exactly what I mean. What's exactly the problem with keeping it as is?
You never hear anyone about the benefits of DST. Like the sunset thing pointed out by M4rkus.
The only thing you hear is, 'it's unnecessary', 'it's from the old days', 'we don't need it anymore'.
I believe no-one actually thought about the consequences it will have if we choose either of the two times forever.
But that's how politics work, only short term thinking, never ever they think long term....

There are no real benefits to DST, that's why you don't hear about them.
The time amount of daylight is constant. Time of sunset and sunrise is a question of time zone, not DST.
