I would have prefer France to play Portugal in the next round... The tactic of Uruguay is what France hates it more. It's not gonna be easy, but, Allez les bleus !!!

Ballon d'Or will now be interesting. Salah, Messi, Ronaldo all out of the World Cup. All have their victories - Salah with amazing debut season and Golden Boot, Messi with La Liga win, Ronaldo with CL win.

Depending on what gonna happen in next rounds, Marcelo, and Modric are big contenders now in my opinion. My french heart would appreciate that Griezman could be in the discussion too, yeah I know, I'm dreaming.

@martinusK having to add that Messi won the Copa del Rey too and Ronaldo had a horrible start in this season. Only 2 goals after 20 matches in La Liga being one of them from penalty.
