Hmm that last picture is Embarcadero, San Francisco. Funny because in real life you need a special permit as a truck driver to go there!

Any chance of a ProMods USA, then?

I think modders who are willing to make map projects will either make a map from scratch,or make Canada or Mexico instead of USA.Because I don't think they will want to expand USA if their work is going to be overwritten by DLC's one day.And original ATS scale will also make them more eager to make a map from scratch I suppose?

Rebuilding the area of one DLC as a hobby-modder will take approximately the same time as creating one as a full-time mapper team anyway…

So you say rebuilding DLC areas is time-wise more efficient than completely building them from scratch? I'm a bit confused.

No, what he says is that a full-time modder needs the same amount of time as a hobby modder does.

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

You want a game map?
You get a game map! (ETS2 (WIP))
You get a game map! (ATS (WIP))

Thank you. I hope to be proven wrong but to me, combined with everything else written here, this is a dead game. At least, not worthy of buying in first year, before a few DLC's come up and with discount. By the way, I am putting so much emphasize on discount because 20 USD or Euros may not be too much for people in USA and EU but you have to think twice or even three times before spending this in Turkey, especially if you are student or let's say, not well-earning - I hope SCS (or Steam?) will do modify the price, though I still don't expect to fall more than %10 - this would be kinda unfair for other countries.

If ProMods won't roll up sleeves for ATS, which I am actually happy with since they are doing a tremendous job for ETS, I just can't see ATS being an alternative for ETS in any way. Small map, weird scaling, slow progress... Not an open-ended trucking experience, for sure.
