Map mods compatibility

Moderator, give link to such topic (i bet it already exists) before locking this one
I use http://ets2downloads.com/category/maps for maps and i wonder which european map mod for ets 1.19.* is not compatible with the latest promods.

None is compatible 'cept Poland Rebuilding and Rusmap.

So i can't add mod for e. g. Spain, Turkey and other european maps which aren't included in promods?

If you are patient enough we will cover these countries

No hard feeling but i look at europen map in the game, i don't see much expanding with promods, ok, more in France, Scandinavia, a little bit more in Italy. Balkans peninsula contains only part of Slovenia.

Don't forget that Promods also extends to:

- Northern Scotland
- Estonia
- Finland
- Faroe Islands
- Iceland

And for ProMods 2.0, we'll add
- Romania
- Toulouse and Perpignan, France
- Andorra
- Barcelona, Spain
- Latvia
- Lithuania

Another thing you should not forget is that ProMods rebuilds a lot; some additions were made withing the borders of the existing map (Antwerpen, Croydon, Zwolle, Basel, Vaduz), while other parts have been started from scratch again (Autobahn Rebuilding Project, which basically reconstructs Germany; the Brenner Autobahn) or add major improvements and rebuilds mixed together (Poland Rebuilding, Scandinavia Merge).

There's much more to ProMods than just map additions

Will i be able to go to Estonia without shipping if i install Poland and Russia map mods? I don't like shipping (long lasting transport) so that's why i never go to UK.

Not yet, but with ProMods 2.0 you will be able too.

The installation of Poland Rebuilding and Rusmap doesn't add connections to Estonia -yet-. Maybe they will in the future.

You only have to use two ferries, and there is currently no way around that:
- Nynashamn-Turku (also access to Finland)
- Helsinki-Talinn

These are short ferries, however.

If you're not satisfied with the coverage of ProMods, RusMap and Poland Rebuilding, you might as well not play ETS2! It is also important to re-build original SCS content because a lot of it is below par.
