Questions before downloading

Before downloading I was hoping is someone could help with these questions (sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place).

1) Are the existing 'official' map areas changed and rebuilt in ProMods and if so how extensively? Also assuming this means it isn't compatible with multiplayer and will reset things such as garages owned?

2) How large are the download files and how large is the game? Does it often come with performance issues or does it perform as smoothly as the base game?

3) Are updates automatic or do you have to uninstall and download the updated version each time? If so, are older versions available for download?

2 The mod is quite large, since we change and add a lot in the game. How well it runs is dependent on your PC. I've got an average PC, on which it runs fine.

3 You will need to download the mod again, every time we update it. Older versions can be found here: https://www.promods.net/compat.php

Thanks. One more question I forgot to add - will my profile be reset (i.e. money and my personal truck)?

Hi,

your profile will not be reset - after loading the first time your current job will be cancelled and you will be teleported back to your home garage.

Loading it for the first time can take a while too. The game needs to initialize all the new roads. It seems like the game hangs, but it just take a while. Up to half an hour, or more or less, depending on your PC.
