Future DLC Italy

Hi everyone!
I know that is a stupid question, but i must do it!
When i'll download the last DLC italy i must restart a new carrier or it's compatible with promod map?
And if i install the dlc with the future update of compatibility (promod map) i'll lost all garage, jobs, roads etc?
I know that is a stupid question and maybe i already know the answers but it's my first mod and i don't know how move.

Hi,

1.) the Italy DLC will be not be compatible per default to ProMods. ProMods will release after a short time after the Italy DLC release a version of ProMods, which will be compatible to ProMods.
2.) no, when you upgrade a ProMods version, you do not lose all your garages.
Just the current job you deliver will be cancelled and maybe some roads (not all) will be shown as "not discoverd", because the road has beed new builded or changed a bit.

And if i start a new career with Promods 2.20 with my base at Rome (for example in Italy) then, when i'll install the dlc Italy, i must restart a new career, right?

I'm italian and i would to start the career in Italy

P.s. Any news about relase date of Dlc Italy?

You can't start your career in Rome, because that city doesn't exist in ProMods 2.2

Please note that after DLC Italia is compatible with PM 2.2, than it's possible. that is what he is trying to say

That DLC won't be compatible with 2.2. It's not as easy as you think. We already have some experience after Scandinavia and France merge.

DLC Italy will be released most likely in December, so ETS2 will update to 1.29, 1.30 or even 1.31 in meantime.

We'll release ProMods 2.21 for 1.29 as soon as we're ready. We need to make a lot of changes within 2.2, to make it compatible with 1.29. That's why a new PM version is needed.

When SCS releases DLC Italy, we'll have to spend a few weeks to connect our map to new Italy roads and that means releasing a new PM version, maybe 2.25?

That's why I said you won't be able to start in Rome when using 2.2. I know what I'm saying, trust a dev

I forgot to say that toghether PMs 2.2 i would like to install also Italy Map and for that i'm asking.

Ultimately, i should wait for the release of the official Dlc and then install Promods with all compatibility.
