but the terrain is pleasantly rolling and the row-houses look authentic. I also enjoyed the bilingual signage in English and Welsh. One jarring detail I noticed was that all the petrol stations appear to be the exact same model and they have no brand name (the sign is blank at the top). So I got the impression that this part of the map is under active development, drivable but not quite fully detailed yet; I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoys the 2-lane back roads and rural landscapes as much as I do. The weather also (perhaps by chance) seemed typically Welsh with great black ominous storm clouds
and by coincidence a local thunderstorm scored a direct strike on a nearby power pole and took out my house power just as the storm in ETS seemed about to break. Talk about a confusion between virtuality and actuality...Another minor gripe I have is that the trains seem to me too short
freight trains are usually looooong but the ones I have been seeing in ETS2 are only a few cars in length, not very realistic despite the excellent SFX as they go by. I think we need some more rolling stock on our virtual rails
