promods 2.02 next one

It's bugging me quite a lot that Promods won't be available for 1.23.1(s). I'm pretty sure a lot of people will e disappointed, but I guess it's ready when it's ready :/

A version of ProMods will be available to work with 1.23.x, it just won't be available immediately. You can be disappointed if you want, but the facts are (and these apply to any mod out there):

• SCS doesn't tell anybody what is going to change [ for version 1.23.1 ] until after it is released (mainly because they do not know for sure what will change until they release it). The open beta period itself has several releases where things are changing (don't believe me? look here).
• The mod author(s) need time to make the necessary changes, then time to test the changes.

At this point I wouldn't hold your breath for the Balkans. It will likely be some time before they are able to be included. For now, enjoy what you have and more will come in the next few months. Patience is a virtue.

Do note that the one in charge of the distribution, ScuL, is in the GMT+12 time zone. This means that he was asleep when 1.23 was released, and therefore couldn't arrange the release at this time.

Furthermore, we experienced some fatal bugs during testing in the past few weeks, which we have fixed in the mean time. Do note that ProMods 2.02 will not fix all bugs ProMods 2.01 has, but it will at least solve the most severe ones...

For me, wait for a new version/patch of ProMods after a SCS update release is not an issue. I know that quality takes time, and ProMods is something that deserves some patience

Will the new promods patch be delivered via the steam workshop, or will the only option be to download directly from the site as usual?

It will only be delivered via the forum. The workshop doesn't support map-mods, their archive is too big.

We can't deliver it by Steam due to the fact that:
1. The Workshop doesn't allow us to gain revenue required to keep this site up and running.
2. The Workshop doesn't allow map mods at the moment.
3. Our package is way too large to be accepted in the Workshop.
