Hello!
This is not really problem but a question to fix something. There are many good modders here so I thought maybe someone can help.
I want to create mod (or mod edit) that moves the in-game location of a map further west, to add compatibility with a map that is in the same position.
The mod will likely be private, unless someone asks for it and i get permission from mod authors.
Anyway, I have a little bit of experience with ETS2 editor (i.e i know how to enable it and i know the basic controls) but I have never made a proper map with it, nor am i extremely good at it.
Anyway, i want to make canada map v0.2.1 by Ivan Mykyta (https://ets2.lt/en/canada-map-v-0-2-1/) work with Republic Of China map (also called C.H : Chung Hwa map) by Yakuan (https://ets2mods.lt/euro-truck-simulato ... ap-1-31-x/)
When using both maps together the game loads but taiwan overlaps the only ferry connection to canada, making canada impossible to reach, and breaking roads in that area.
What I need to do is move canada map's roads (Sectors) further west so they don't overlap. Taiwan is located to the west of the uk, and so is canada. If anyone can tell me how i can do this that would be great, thanks!
Same question posted on SCS forum by me, ive had no response there so far though: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=257739
How do i move the in-game location of a map?
