Hello there,

I've just installed Promods, did all the steps, activated it on the mod manager but the game crashes on the loading screen if promods is activated.
I already removed all other mods, tried creating a new profile, same thing keeps happening.

I've seen on other topics that the definitions package should also appear on the mod manager. Mine doesn't, even though I generated and correctly placed it in the mods file. I already tried downloading it from another browser, AD-Block disabled as I saw some others players had issues with it but it's still the same.

I posted my game.log file on Dropbox as even Pastebin said it was too big. Here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tlgtbd05bwnw2 ... g.txt?dl=0

Thanks in advance for your time! :)

You forgot to enable the DEF-file in your modmanager.

I confirm the ProMods definition file is present in your mod folder, the game.log shows that the game is seeing the file:

Code: Select all

00:00:01.162 : [zipfs] promods-def-v227.scs: Mounted, 2178 entries [0x2107d769]
00:00:01.162 : [zipfs] promods-def-v227.scs: Unmounted
It is simply not activated in your profile. It should appear in your Mod Manager (I see no evidence in the game.log to explain why it wouldn't be visible).

I've just solved it, thanks!

As you said, the def package wasn't enable. I stated above it didn't show on the mod manager, but I was wrong. It did show, but not with the rest of the promod packages. Instead it was lost in the middle of the 10321831 mods I have downloaded xD

Sorry for making you loosing your time!
