[2.12] GPS route not visible

I don't see the route on my GPS. Only when I go to the map screen.

I haven't any mod installed except the ProMods map.

I hope there is just something wrong with my settings? I've always played on Mac, but for the first time, I'm trying it on W10.

Strange thing...
If you enable F3 (Route Advisor), it's the same as in your truck's GPS?
Did you try reinstalling the game?

EDIT:

I found the issue, it was a bit of luck
Go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles and find your profile there. Open your profile's folder and edit config.cfg file with Notepad.
Find this line

Code: Select all

uset g_gps_navigation "2"

and change it to

Code: Select all

uset g_gps_navigation "3"

Save the file and launch the game

or.. see gps settings in game settings page.. maybe you selected not show gps route

I've just searched for "nav" in your log, to find something related to navigation/gps. And I found this lane... Then I decided to check if it's somewhere in config.cfg and I found it. So I changed it to "2" in my profile, and I had the same 'issue' as you
Now I see it's also in Gameplay settings, so maybe you clicked it here:

2 - world map and freight market
3 - always

oooooooh yeah :') that could be it. But than, it's strange that the GPS doesn't work don't understand the function of that option ^^

its simple.. you can select when show gps or not show gps at all..
