Good plan, especially for Syria, really wanted to see this country in ETS2. You could also add Damascus - Amman road. And city of Tripolis in Lebanon to make further connection with Syria.

So you want to want to do only Amman in Jordan?
I think Irbid and some other small towns should be added too.

Here is how Lebanon would look when finished. I can't promise it for first release. There's still work to do : Beirut and the southern part are done and will be included.
The northern part (Byblos and Tripoli) and eastern part (Zahle and Bekaa plain) are the extension. I work actually on those areas.

About Syrian border, it'll be actually the same than Saudi border at Aqaba. You can reach it but not cross it.

Also, about the last question : Beirut - Damascus - Amman road is not excluded in future. Some northern cities of Jordan, like Irbid could then be added.
On the Amman - Aqaba road, city of Ma'an is planned.

Very good news, like always, if i was a mapper i would do it the same as you. (It's about roads and cities that you decide to include)
