P.S. It's interesting that ProMods still built some other disputed and conflict areas in Europe including Basque country, Catalonia and Belfast. All of those areas were a place for political clashes and terrorism.
At the moment this discussion is moot because no construction is happening in Ukraine in the first place.
However, the disputes you referred to such as Catalonia, Basque country and Northern Ireland are separatist movements within respective nations.
The conflict in Ukraine is different because it's an armed conflict with a foreign occupation force which remains unresolved.

Hi,
I'm currently running Southern Region / Rusmap / Great Steppe / Turkey / Balkans and of course Promods. Everything works really well apart from Turkey being out of scale.
Anyway, the question i'm asking is, when I take a job from a town in the Southern Region to pretty much anywhere East do i really have to drive all the way up to Moscow or Brest and then back down again? Is there a map mod compatible that will fill in the big gap of Romania ? I've seen a few Romania mods but all say incompatible.
I'm currently driving Tyance on one side of the Black Sea to a place in Turkey, on the other side of the Black Sea, a journey in real life of 1300km. With this map combination its 4300km :/
Thanks for taking your time to read.
You can try Roextended 1.5 instead of Balkan Project. It is a beautiful and successful map and does not want a modified Turkey map like the Balkan Project. With Roextended you can use the original YKS Turkey Map 1.31. Roextended also comes with new ferry links.

Or just drive, this is a Truck driving simiulator not a Ferry Simulator.

Could it be an option, to take the status at it was at Release of ETS2, just stating a historical status without justification of the development afterwards.

I think everyone has its one opinion on that what happened there, and this opinion will be very different depending on the political opinion one have.

Stating the historical situation to special time, is no statement pro or con, stating the actual situaion could be a political statement.

This could be a strategy for conflict areas anyhow.

In any case, let's not start a "Politically unstable areas" thread ok? :D

yeah, lets keep politics out of this. all i wanna do is truck around eurasia, and i dont think i'm alone on that matter.

at least there seems to be some more ukraine add-ons shaping up. here's hope at least one of them is a worthy filling for this gap in the map.

YKS Turkey Map is very good but not enough for ProMods i think, because it's not realistic map (road signs, places, cities, etc.), a little bit realistic...maybe they will develope this, I trust them :)

The main problem there is that YKS Team EU Turkey Map has a heavily non-standard scaling, which renders any present or future compatibility with other maps covering the Balkans and/or Turkey and/or the Caucasus nigh impossible.

I don't like YKS cause it has no realistic road signs like Promods
