The low job price and high price-per-km (for a long-distance job) are usually an indication that the game cannot find a route between the source and destination locations. SCS made some changes to the GPS routing system in ETS2 1.23.x; as a result there were some locations which started failing to produce a GPS planned route. The ProMods team fixed many of the broken routes before releasing ProMods v2.02, but a few were not able to be fixed in time. The known locations in the ProMods 2.02 map (and a description of the problem) are listed here: [2.02] Known jobs that fail GPS route in map. Most of the remaining broken routes in the ProMods 2.02 map are due to a problem with the company prefab. I suspect ROS 3.0 will have some locations with similar issues since ROS 3.0 was released prior to ETS2 1.23.x. I suspect there will be no GPS planned route drawn on the map when you select one of these jobs in the job market.Mr Larrington wrote:I've been having a problem with ETS2 v1.23 / ProMods v2.02 / RusMap v1.63 / ROS v3.0 concerning job prices when there's a ferry involved .... Random jobs using ProMods. Note not-sensible prices for jobs to Akureyri as well as Alakurtti in ROS territory.
With only ProMods 2.02 loaded, I have confirmed there are no failing company locations in Akureyri, Iceland. However, when I load ProMods 2.02, RusMap 1.6.3, and ROS 3.0, the TREE-ET company in Akureyri becomes a failing location (I believe this is the John Deere company in your set-up). If I remember correctly, Russian Open Spaces overrides the TREE-ET company prefab from the SCS base, and apparently it is overriding it with a version that is no longer compatible with ETS2 1.23.x. Bottom line, I believe we will have to wait for ROS to be updated to be compatible with ETS2 1.23.x to eliminate the broken routes being caused by the mod. For now the only advice I can offer is to stay away from these jobs which do not produce a GPS planned route.
