Unfortunately F5 didn't show me anything. The status bar tells me "Map europe.mdb loaded." and on the right side is a set of coordinates (changing every time I start the editor) but the black background doesn't show anything except the console window and other windows I can open (like the GPU buffers and Scene Statistics).

Here is a screenshot of my editor. Maybe the statistic windows can give a hint.

If I just write "edit" or click on File -> New the white car is in the center. But F5 is still not working.

Edit: I clicked on the Free Camera button. This is the result:

Looks like some floating islands. Finally something else than the black background. :D

Well, that happened to me. Press the search button and go to any city you want (for ex: Huesca). You just need to select it on the box and then press find; and you will be TP’ed to it.

Thank you, the city appears. But I can't move. I've tried WASD, arrow keys and the numkeys (like with the free camera ingame).

Strange behaviour: When I switch to top cam and then back to free cam, all these litte colourful squares, triangles and circles disappear and there is no reaction from the tool bar nor from the menu bar, when I click on a button/menu. I can't even drag the window.
But when the window loses the focus (e.g. by Alt+Tab or clicking on the task bar) the little symbols are back and the bars are accessible again.

Edit:
Even more strange: Left clicking on a symbol on the task bar (e.g. Firefox) while stuck without the symbols in the map editor will be interpreted as a right click (the context menu opens).

That's normal behaviour that can be accessed a lot easier by pressing space. :P

Even that doesn't work for me.
It feels like something is blocking all my input directly accessing the GUI.

Have you tried closing the console first before moving around?

Well... no. I didn't even consider it. That really hurts.
Thank you all. The editor is now working.

It's always something trivial. :P

And it's the same problem: your console is still open. Close it first.
