Flickering textures & crash railings blocking lanes

I got two issues that I can't figure out:

a) I'm trying to put some white lines on top of a road (or another texture), but no matter what technique I try, the result isn't really satisfactory. I've tried "no parking" lines (Building), but those disappear as you get closer, and I tried snow textures, but they flicker like crazy: https://youtu.be/DW4vY4MrwwA
Any idea what might be good method to get some kind of lines on the road?

b) When I attach two one-lane roads (fr hw 3 lanes one way tmpl) to a fork (/fork_temp/fr/fr_hw3_fork_tmpl.ppd), and then activate some crash railings, invisible collision boxes are placed across part of the lanes: https://youtu.be/8OyBPlrVrik
Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

a) Place those lines a bit above the ground
b) Use a "nosidecoll" variant of those barriers. I'm not sure if it exist in base files but we have it in ProMods assets.

How far is "a bit"?
I already tried everything between 1-5mm or so, but didn't see any change

But wouldn't that mean that the guardrails are ineffective? In that case I could just not use the road barriers at all, and place some manually (which is what I did anyway for now).
And is there any logic behind those lane blockers, or is there a bug in the prefab or road definition?

No idea how much, it depends on the lines you use and road angle and so on.

No, it wouldn't mean that. That variant just doesn't have that "weird" collision sticking out to the side, blocking lanes like in your example ;)
